Yep, more ambulances are out. Noticed that yesterday and today. Yesterday I had hospital trips three times, haven't been today yet.
Be safe❤️🙏🏻😇
Take care and stay well
Recent media coverage that states “overwhelmed SoCal ambulance crews” are being “warned not to transport trauma patients” is potentially misleading and inaccurate. — Yes, the West Covina Fire Department has been flooded with both COVID-related and typical emergency calls. One additional rescue ambulance has been deployed within our city, and WCFD continues to do our best with the resources we have to secure the safety and well-being of our community. Even with an additional rescue ambulance, hospital wait times and patient volumes are extraordinary. Unfortunately, this continues to adversely impact ambulance response times, but WCFD continues to respond to 911 emergency calls in our city as quickly as resources permit. Citizens should continue to feel secure in calling 911 for life threatening injuries or illnesses. In partnership with our community, we will continue to do our part amid these unprecedented times. Be safe and be well, your WCFD. Letty Lopez-Viado

Can we all do our part, and follow the CDC guidlines. If we can do that now, we can debate its merits later....if we're lucky!
Thank you for clarifying during these trying times it’s very concerning to read misinformation

Thank for posting this and always responding when we need help.
Thank you.
🙏🙏🙏🙏 thank you
Thank you WCFD for all you do. YOU ARE APPRECIATED! Stay safe brothers.
I took one today to ER in my Lyft, she didn't want to call an ambulance. People will get there by uber, lyft, taxi or other wise. It is clear time to teach these types of drivers what you want or there will be further mayhem, this is part of why even with my little nursing education I keep working the streets good luck
Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you WCFD for all you do!!!!!
