On behalf of WCFA Local 3226, we would like to congratulate Milan Mrakich on his appointment as City Manager of West Covina, approved during the June 2, 2026 City Council meeting. 🎉 Since stepping into the role of Acting City Manager in May 2025, Milan has been a strong advocate for the West Covina Fire Department. His commitment to firefighter health and safety has led to important station improvements, critical equipment upgrades, and continued investment in the resources our members need to serve the community effectively. Milan also played an instrumental role in the selection and hiring of our new Fire Chief, helping shape the future of our department. We appreciate his leadership, support, and dedication to public safety, and we look forward to continuing our partnership as he begins this new chapter serving the City of West Covina.
